Business model
The project is designed for farmers to increase their income levels by sale of fruits and silk. In addition, farmers would also receive income from the sale of carbon credits. The project plans to raise investments in 2 different formats. One is forward credit purchases by corporates and resellers in the market for a fixed fee in return for a number of credits. The other investment mechanism is through an equity based financing for investment into the project. We are also exploring a portfolio based approach where in we will bundle different types of projects into a portfolio to reduce the cost per credit
