About 1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People

 

1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People (1000L), a collaboration of global change agents, is accelerating efforts to sustain and restore ecosystems, build rural prosperity, and confront climate change.

It is a global coalition of NGOs, companies, governmental and intergovernmental organizations, Indigenous Peoples organizations, and landscape partnerships working together to resolve the world’s interconnected crises through integrated landscape action.

Their vision is to support 1000 locally-led landscape partnerships, helping 1 billion people transform their regions into thriving, resilient landscapes by 2030. 1000L is committed to fostering human well-being, healthy ecosystems, regenerative economies, and inspiring actionable change in the journey toward a balanced and sustainable relationship with the planet.
