This session showcases findings from an integrated intervention developed in the priority landscape of the San Martín region, and spotlights the leadership of smallholder farmers in mitigating climate change and conserving biodiversity. Co-created with public, private and local actors, the San Martín model combines natural climate solutions (including conservation, restoration and agroforestry) with market-driven commodity production to enhance livelihoods, promote sustainable agriculture and value creation.
